Hello, I'm Megan.
I am from and currently reside in Edmonton, Alberta on Treaty 6 territory.
I received my Master of Library and Information Science degree from the Western University in 2014 and it was probably one of the best things I've ever decided to do.
I have four cumulative years of professional experience in areas including research assistance, image research, archives, law librarianship, and community engagement.
I am passionate about working with marginalized communities including youth, seniors, First Nations, Inuit, and Metis people, newcomers, the LGBTQ+ community, and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
I am also passionate about advocating for librarianship and for students and new professionals in the LIS field.
